Tara Cooper: Cranial Prosthesis Specialist Tyler, Texas

I began my professional journey as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, driven by a passion for helping people breathe easier and lead healthier lives.

I completed my education and training, earning an Associate Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Care to provide specialized care to patients with respiratory issues. For several years, I worked diligently in various healthcare settings.

I was committed to delivering compassionate care, collaborating with medical teams, and staying updated with the latest advancements in respiratory therapy to provide the best possible outcomes for my patients. In 2019, fueled by my entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to explore new horizons, I embarked on a completely different path by opening "It's Bout Time Beauty Supply."

This venture was a departure from my background as a respiratory therapist, but it allowed me to tap into my creativity and connect with people in a unique way. "It's Bout Time Beauty Supply" was born out of my fascination with the beauty industry and the profound impact it has on people's self-esteem and confidence.

I recognized that beauty products go beyond mere cosmetics – they empower individuals to express themselves, enhancing their sense of identity and style. With a dedication to offering top-quality products and exceptional customer service, my beauty supply store quickly gained popularity among the local community.

I embraced the opportunity to guide people on their beauty journeys, helping them discover the products that best suited their needs and preferences. Interestingly, my background as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and my role as a beauty supply store owner intersected in unexpected ways.

Both roles revolved around caring for individuals and improving their well-being – one through physical health and the other through enhancing self-confidence and personal expression. In both roles, my overarching goal remains the same: to make a positive impact on people's lives, whether it's by helping them breathe better or by empowering them to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin!

What do you love about the community you work and live in?

Being part of a community that values service has also influenced my approach to my work. The importance of empathy, compassion, and genuine care for others is deeply ingrained in my interactions with both patients and customers. I am committed to not only meeting their needs but also ensuring that they feel heard, valued, and understood.

Moreover, this community has provided me with a platform to engage with others who share similar values. Whether it's collaborating on local initiatives, participating in community events, or simply connecting with like-minded individuals, I have found a sense of belonging that is both fulfilling and meaningful.

In essence, my experience in this small, close-knit community has reinforced my belief in the power of service and the impact it can have on individuals and the community as a whole. I am proud to be a part of such a community that values serving others and strives to make a positive difference in the lives of its members.
